A tragic multi-vehicle Car Accident on I-95 has left 3 people dead and 1 more critically injured.  Four family members had spent Wednesday evening shopping in Boca Raton, Florida.  On the way home three vehicles collided causing a Lexus SUV to fly off I-95 through a fence and land in water about 50 feet away. The vehicle sank. Emergency divers from Broward Sheriff’s Office were able to find two bodies that evening – Nadege Theodore age 37 and her 16 years old nephew. Sadly, divers were not able to find the body of Ms. Theodore’s daughter until the following morning. The sole survivor, Sandalie Jean-Baptiste, is in critical condition at Broward Medical Center North after being given CPR be Broward Fire Rescue and transported to the hospital.

Several family members that spoke to the victims shortly before the tragic accident are heartbroken. After not hearing from the victims confirming they had arrived home safely, one family member, Edmonde Emmanuel, went to the house of his relatives. When he did not find them home as of 11:30pm, he suspected something had happened.  We are sure that an accident where so many of his family members passed away was the furthest thing from his mind.  The police are investigating the accident and have made no comment as to whether speed, vehicle condition or drugs/alcohol played any role in the accident. I-95 is one of the most traveled roads in Florida that travels from south of Miami, Florida all the way to Maine.  This is one of the most tragic Car Accidents in recent news and our thoughts and prayers are with surviving family members.  We hope that Ms. Jean-Baptiste pulls through with the help of her doctors and her family’s love.
